Weekly Recap Monday July 14 2008

Hello Beauties have a lot to cover this week and is open for opinions. First off welcome all new beauties, seems like every week we have 2 or 3 new ladies joining. Hope everyone is enjoying playing as much as I do. Last week was a little hectic, if it’s not the drama from the ladies, its drama from the male impostor. Little did he know of the sisterhood us ladies have for each other, I knew he wouldn't last long. When he was short stacked and decided to go all-in, two ladies called and checked it down to the river, and HE OUT!!!

Thank you ladies.Last week for the 3rd time in 6 weeks I michele1024 took first, seems like it’s the only tourney I can final table lately. SP SHARK came in an impressive second and also, took out our boytoy GUS Handsome for a bounty of $76.00. Nice job gf!!!
I haven't recruited a boy toy for this week yet, and the reason being is, this week is our 3rd year anniversary. I have emailed UB and asked them to give us some gifts to the ladies that final table beauties. I have also been working with maronie47 to also give the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finisher’s trophies. Of course we can’t forget the lady that gets knocked out first, so she will receive our donkey trophy. If UB comes through this week and I can get the trophy's here on time we will schedule Thursdays tourney our anniversary tourney and no boy toy will participate.

I thought for our previous boy toys in the past I would set up a private tourney for them running the same time as we play. It would be called BATTLE OF THE BOY TOY. The winner of that tourney will be our boy toy winner and will allow him to play the following week without putting up a $25.00 bounty. Maybe we can all pitch in a dollar and give the top 3 guys a trophy as well? Tell me what you all think. I'm open for any suggestions.

We have very few mentionable cashes (we have to draw a line somewhere). There were quite a few small cashes that at least paid over and above the entry. At least most did. No bounties, TD’s (where used as a re-entry), cash games, etc are used for obvious reasons. Sadly during my gathering information wins vs. entries fell far below expected results. Even solid, seasoned, veterans are struggling and unknowns top our trny leader board’s complements of UB’s latest system. I am going to post a UB address hopefully you will voice opinions and I strongly suggest no profanity no matter how you feel as your suggestion will be ignored. This I have heard from many others as truth and even if it catches UB’s attention the reply will be unfavorable to your/our cause and I wouldn’t rule out possible repercussions. From UB:

Shuffling through literally hundreds of trny results these are the scraps I came up with.
A_Classylady picked up $360 in a 6K prior to weekend.
The 200 Queen, Cheryl7760 gathered innumerous TD’s in 200K’s and Aruba entries.
Darbeygirl scored $325 in a 5K recently.

Weekly Recap Thur July 3 2008

Hello ladies, sorry I'm a day late with the blog, its been a busy week for myself, Last week we only had 30 chicks, many of you had plans for the holiday weekend. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY to all my American friends.

It was a rough final table, with lots of the usual ub bad beats but in the end, it was a heads-up match with Garnet and Idblondee. After, exchanging chips for a while the ladies decided just to chop it. great job both of you.

We had some confusion with our boy toy, who wasn't able to play. Thank you Garnet, for stepping in and finding us one that would. I really appreciate it. Then as soon as I figured out how I was going to distribute the bounty money, Guess who showed up?
stretch2424, so on a last minute decision I decided to put all bounty money back on him and give 5 points to the lady that took out hazy-cat. Congratulations to sweetchecks1 for knocking out stretch2424 and earning his bounty of $69 and Garnet for taking out kitty (Hazy_Cat), for an extra 5 points for our summer leader board.


This weeks Boy Toy is a real gem. Most of us know him, gus handsom. We will have a great time with him, Don't let the name fool you, he may carry the pro name, but no match for us pro beauties. Remember all bounty money to mishmosh.

Beauties Weekly Cap June 30 2008

Hello Beauties, this week is the first game of the month. Our buy-in is doubled. Good luck to the ladies that place. We have had a lot of new ladies join lately; I would like to say welcome to beauties on behalf of myself and the veterans.

Congratulations to A_Classylady, for an impressive first place win, with a grinding heads-up match with SusieQue. Great job to both the ladies.

Once again, our boy toy spideytwo wasn't able to get out of the web that holdmclose put him in. She took him out early in the tourney for a bounty of $81.00. Very nice job!!! Still to date we have not allowed any boy toy to take over our tourney, that's impressive.

We had a birthday on Thursday..... riverqueen88 celebrated her birthday with all of us, and put a $25.00 bounty on herself. A_Classylady, in the end did take out the birthday girl and received her bounty. Thank you so much from all the beauties riverqueen, I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

I would like to give our deepest sympathy's to flsmiam and her family who lost her brother this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you girlfriend.

This weeks boy toy is STRETCH2424 one of the nicest guys on UB. He is also a very solid player, so watch out this week ladies, let’s make sure we stretch him till he cracks!!! Don't forget all bounty money to account mishmosh.

Didn't think I would have to cover the rules on UB, but for any ladies that either I register or they register themselves, if for some reason you cannot play on Thursday, you may unregister yourself up to 1/2 hour before the tourney begins. It’s the same rules that apply for any tournament on UB.

Hello ladies, sorry it’s taken a few extra days to put the blog together as I'm having computer problems but here it is.
First, what a week for riverqueen88 not only a big congrats to her for taking first, but also for knocking out our boy toy iceman1967 and not allowing him to even make final table. Great Job gf, looks like you may be the woman to beat on OUR summer contest.

I'm not going to spend much time on this subject, but I do want to address the drama that occurred on the final table last week. I consider myself good friends to every single woman that plays in my tournament, and to be honest it hurts me to have to either step in and break up woman that are saying hurtful words to each other, or even have to take a side between two ladies, therefore I wont do it. With 35
woman, of all different, races, religion, issues, quality of play, etc. not always will we see eye to eye, but that is when respect must come in. I have the utmost respect for each and every one of you as mothers, players and friends. I will not go into who is right/wrong here as I didn't even see the chat, but if you consider yourself a friend of mine, I would appreciate the same respect I give all you ladies in return, and that is to make beauties a fun place to play a friendly game of poker. So please biotches try to get along, as I know most of the woman that play don't want to hear it.... OK enough of this you all get the picture.

Hey Beauties,
Like to welcome a few new ladies from last week and this week. jjerseygirl, drruth333 and birdsindirt. All the beauties welcome you and hope you will enjoy playing each week with us.

For the second week in a row, I (michele1024) took 1st in our tourney, not quite sure how I did it, must have been pure luck, since that night I had 4 games going at once. A big congrats to holdmclose for a 2nd place finish and also, not allowing our boy toy golfnutz88 to even place in the tourney. She took him out at 8th getting his bounty of $77.00 dollars. Golf stick to golf, your no match in this league of women.

This weeks boy toy is a real wild one......iceman1967 he is funny as hell, will have us laughing the whole tourney. That's about all he will do, as I know he will be melted by the time the final table comes around. Which brings me to mention, since I have taken over beauties for maronie47, we have not allowed a boy toy to take 1st in our game. Congratulations to Gianna524, she gave birth to a little beauty on June 8th.

Last weeks beauties, was a shocker. As I expected our pro boy-toy "DashAlert" to give us a fight, he was no match for Garnet, who took him out at 33, and got his bounty of $79.00 NICE JOB GF!!

Congratulations to two of our new girls for making top 5 last week. sulli03 placed 5th and fireresqrl placed 3rd. As I came in first (michele1024) I have to give respect to sweetchecks1 for putting up a grinding heads-up match. I think it was a record breaker for the longest heads-up match, in beauties history.
