My life this week has been hell, we flooded over the weekend, so huge mess to clean not to mention i lost all my kids pre school art work, then today my brother in law joey passed away, my family is a mess!! Frankie (Mich's cousin) is back on kemo and the last two days have been horrible for him. Not sure if I will make it on tonight, as my house is a disaster and have to get ready for a funural. I will talk to you soon, let everyone know i will do blog as soon as i get a chance. love you all

I share the pain and our prayers are with Frankie, his family, and Michele’s in this time of need hopefully he will have another miracle. For those of you being new to Beauties Frankie had a brain tumor in the recent past and pulled through Chemo and no more tumors were found and he was given a break from the pain it dealt until now.
Let us all send our regrets and sincerity to the family and friends of Joey, brother to Michele’s husband Bri. He’s been in a comatose state for sometime now after a stroke unexpectedly took him down early in life and passed away today. Our sorrow goes out to you and your family for such tragedy Michele. I join the others in wishing hope, luck, and well being for all. CherokeeBrave

Beauties Weekly Cap Aug 28th & Sept 4th

Hello ladies, I'm so sorry the blog is a week late, since school started there hasn’t been much time even for myself.

I will start with Aug 28th tourney, Aug 28th was the final game to be played for our summer leader board. The final 3 are as follows: Cheryl7760 and (me) Michele1024 are tied for first. Cheryl and I will have a HU game TBA, to determine the first place winner. I will notify all of you when her and I can both get together to play it. Everyone is welcome to watch. Riverqueen88 came in an impressive 2nd. If you want to see the complete list, click the link to Brave's web site, as he keeps it up to date for all of us.

Our boy toy that week was Gotta_nguyen, he really thought he had a chance to win it. Although he did make the final table, he was taken out at 10th place by PitStop1099, to receive his bounty.
Great job gf. To date NO boy toy has ruled our game, HU was exciting to watch as two of my dear friends Jooocey and MissEvonne ground into each other, but in the long run Jooocey walked away with 1st.

We had a couple new beauties join that week, ThinLizzy04 and MrsDye, Welcome ladies, hope to see you at many more beauties games.

Sept 4th, was our first Thursday of the month game where the stakes are higher, we had a FUN boy toy join us this week. LittestMan was advised by his mommy, that he didn't have a chance at our game. Well..... what can I say, mommy knows best, as he was taken out at 12th place by BuaDonkAdonk. This brings up a touchy subject. As most of us know, the Bounty money for the Boy Toy needs to be in the mishmosh account NO LATER THAN 5 MINUTES AFTER OUR GAME BEGINS. At 9:30 emarfit, asked if it was too late to ship her money as she had forgotten. Unfortunately I had to say yes it was too late and she was unable to participate in boy toy bounty. BuaDonkaDonk, also forgot to ship in time, therefore I still hold the bounty money and will ask Littlestman to come back this week, along with another boy toy. It’s always fun to have two anyways. Ladies, I consider each and everyone of you my dearest friends, and I hate to be put in a situation I feel uncomfortable in, so PLEASE if you want to participate in boy toy bounty, please follow the rules and get it in right away, its only fair to the ladies that do. I received an email from emarfit the following day, with her permission I would like to share it all with you.

Even though BuaDonkaDonk, didn't get bounty money, she did take 1st and received a whopping $148 bucks. Great job gf!!! With Maronie47 sitting at the final table with a very low stack, played a solid game and managed to rebuild her stack to take a very impressive 2nd place. A_ClassyLady following in 3rd.

There is something very important I would like to share with all the ladies that play feeders...... I was informed that UB is monitoring the chat on these games. IF YOU AGREE TO A FREEZE, you will risk getting your ACCOUNT BANNED from UB and AP. So be careful ladies, none of us want to see anyone banned.

Tunica Update: Still no dates on the circuit event in January. I know myself and a few others are always looking. I have emailed WSOP for the dates and still waiting for a reply. I will keep you all informed the minute I know, so we can book it.

Ladies, how would you feel if I make this weeks beauties a 6 seat table, since we will have 2 boy toys? Just a thought... let me know. I have received a few emails for bragging beauties.... I did forward them to brave (our mascot) but unfortunately braves computer crashed and got all kinds of viruses. I apologize in advance if we missed a big win. An email from our very good friend TrickiVicki, along with her mom and dad spent several days at Las Vegas for her husbands birthday gave consent to post her email (I asked for hehehe).

Ok here's the low down...my mom (Etimes) and I made two final tables together, which was pretty good in my book :). The second final table I took 4th for $340.00 and mom chopped with the other two (after I went.. the bastards!) for $729.00. Mom cashed for $240.00 in a tourney at Binions, that was ok but we were both excited because we were playing with Pam Brunson!! What a cool gal! I chopped a Sit n Go (but because I was higher in chips) I took $600 he took $400. My dad and hubby did pretty well too...Dad won about $770 and hubby won $1360. Not to shabby :) (Wish I could do as well here on UB)! Take care! Vicki

Hello ladies, we are coming to the end of our Summer Leader Board,
August 28th will be the final game. Good luck everyone!!

Big congratulations to SusieQue for taking 1st in beauties last week, and kicking my ass for 3rd. BuaDonkaDonk with a 2nd place finish also very nice!!

SweetChecks1, managed "again" to take out our boy toy JaypdPinoi at 16th, for a bounty of $73.00. Great job ladies for still, to date, not allowing our boy toy to take over our game.

Looking for feedback from you ladies, I want to put together a Reunion of all the beauties. I thought a perfect place to do it, would be in Tunica. From January 20, 2009 till about Feb 8th, the WSOP will be held there. The schedule is not posted yet, But if we can all plan to get away sometime during that period, maybe Friday night - Monday morning, I would love for us all to play a circuit ladies event. I am going to call the hotel and see if I can block out about 10-15 rooms and get a discounted price for us. We can buddy up with each other and split the cost of the room. I hope all of us can make it, what a great time to finally put faces with names. Ill keep you all posted on the exact weekend. I do know the buy-in for the event is $225.00. (I have played it before, and it’s a blast)

The invite list is growing as you all can see; we have a lot of new beauties joining each week, I’d like to welcome Hokey Poker, PQroundd & ChasinU. Thank you ladies for coming out on Thursdays and playing with us. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
Cherokee: I would like to add, hopefully we also have another new beauty that requested application referred by IceMan1967 her name is NotNow7. I wanted to mention her ahead of time tho she hasn't played in our trny's "yet". She fought her battle and won. With her $530 entry placed 45th out of 778 players to win Sat 5:30pm 50 seat Aruba Classic for nice $8,500 trip to Aruba 2008. Congratulations if you're out there NotNow or later! (that name could get a bit confusing I can tell already)


I haven't recruited a Boy Toy this week, although I have a few in mind that wanted to play, I'm sure by Thursday we will have a victim. If anyone knows a male interested, feel free to give them my email, as I will reply to the email and give them the details.

Personal note: my bro in-law Joey is still in the same condition as 4 weeks ago, still in a coma, and on a respirator. He is going to be moved this week to a repertory hospital, with all the prayers he just may wake up.
On a good note, Frankie is doing wonderful, no new tumors, and doc said they're going to stop chemo for a while. The chemo is really hurting his body, (the side effects of chemo). With no new tumors he can have a few months off. What a miracle he has been. Once again ladies (friends) thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Beauties Weekly Cap Aug 11 2008

Hello Ladies, Last week we had quite a few ladies question where our tourney was posted. Because it is no longer on a pw option, it will be listed under regular tournaments. Set tab for Regular & Open. Scroll down past regular Thur 9pm time to find it in Invite section probably near the bottom but it’s there.

To the ladies that would like to play and are not on the auto list, you have to email me before Wed at 6:00 pm, last week we had 3 ladies that wanted to get in 2 hours prior and I could not do it. Thank you girls.

Last week we had a great Boy Toy "Tater H0" not only a good sport, but a good friend to many of us. The potato was no challenge for our ladies as IDblondee took him out at our final table and did not allow him to cash. Great Job girlfriend, seems like you always taking out these men, (future boy toys beware of her).
This week’s Boy Toy should be interesting, his name is Jaypdpinoi a solid player, but will be no match for all you chicks. Give him hell ladies, he has already been warned about us.

Congratulations to Maronie47 for grinding out the final table and placing First. Nianitic View came in an impressive Second, both nice cashes on our first Thursday of the month tourney.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

I would like to extend my prayers as all of us will I'm sure to SandiG & family. Taking care of the sick and elderly takes a lot of strength and will power to overcome. It’s a time selfishness is never, or shouldn’t be, an issue, we do as much as we can for as long as it takes. It’s a time we set aside what we now label any petty issues of the past and do what needs to be done even if it’s nothing but holding ones hand through troubled times. Sandi and her sister(s) and others I’m sure had or have a helping hand are to be commemorated for their part. These are the things we will carry with us in memory until it’s our turn to be on the other end. Bless you Sandi

Hello ladies, I'm so sorry about the blog this week, seems like days turn into weeks so fast with all that is happening. Here is an update on Joey, he is still on a respirator, barley any brain activity, doc's say soon the meds that are keeping the swelling and pressure in the brain down, may no longer work. My family will soon have to decide to take him off the respirator, or keep him on it and basically live in a vegetated state. Its obviously very hard on all of us, no one wants to be the person to say its time, as everyone still thinks a miracle may occur. For the ladies that know about Frankie, good news finally!!! Yesterday was his MRI and no new tumors, so he will continue with his Chemo till the next MRI in 8 weeks. We are so grateful for the news. All your prayers are helping.

This weeks beauties is posted under regular tournaments, I have decided to make our tourney an invite only game. If for some reason you are unable to play, you may still UN-register 1/2 hour before game time.

I see a lot of the ladies having trouble locating the new trny positioning after changing from Private to "invite". I had major struggle looking everywhere I could think of but I finally found it. Look under "Regular" have button on "Open" now keep scrolling down almost to the bottom it begins "Invite" and there it is. I was looking at the Day, Thurs, and time 9pm. It's not in that section it's further down. GL on tbl's tnite ladies and no throwing things or biting this week :-p Cherokee

Unfortunately ladies, I have not recruited a boy toy yet, I will hopefully get one today or tonight as this is the first time in 2 weeks I have been able to log on and play. Please be patient with me, I hope soon my life will just go back to normal. If anyone knows a dude that wants to play let me know and I will email him the details. Joocey, a special thank you for my poker pj's, it really made my day when I received it, that was so sweet of you and I absolutely love it. I will wear it tomorrow nite for sure!!!!

Leader Board Stats Anew

The Leader Board in Review


Leader Board Reconstruction: Ladies I have processed the trny winners again from scratch to correct any errors and posting this one time in several layouts to make it clear where each winner placed individually as well as in groups. The data has been gleaned from the top ten in each of the 8 trny’s including which player ousted the boy toy. Also I relied on the screenshots of each and every trny I have saved plus the weekly blogs where each trny winner was mentioned as well as who took out the boy toy. If you feel there are any mistakes feel free to contact me (CherokeeBrave) or Michele as the new system for arriving at the standings has far better safety precautions built in now, but still nothing is infallible.
The completion where I’ve already added it all together will be posted with this weeks blog. Names and numbers (below) in red depict the player knocking out the boy toy and acquiring the 2 points. One exception was Garnet got 5 points for her effort being there were 2 boy toys. An alternate, Hazy_Cat was brought in to fill Stretch 2424s’ place then Stretch managed to arrive although he was late he was allowed to play. It was decided Garnet got extra points for crushing Hazy_Cat and SweetChecks1 was awarded the bounty $ on Stretch.

Each member’s individual wins are in alphabetical order. (I will say so far Cheryl7760 leads the flock at 18 points followed by Michele1024 & RiverQueen88 at 14 points ea and trying to peck their way to the top). Michele and RiverQueen are still in the hen house plotting on a way or ways to get the farmer to choose the crowing Cheryl as the next family dinner. Now where did that chicken **** go they're asking?
Excel has the ability to sort entries/names alphabetically and keeping points locked with each name. Then after adding the points of an individuals name so only 1 of each name appears I select the points column and choose: sort by descending order. It asks me if I want to include the data in the neighboring column (names) in the equation? I choose yes and click ok and it automatically arranges the points beginning with the highest order on top and the lowest at the bottom with each name still locked in tact with their point(s). This process from beginning to end is less likely to cause human error all manually inserted and sorting data would or could do.
Here I dropped in each group of 10 to 11 (boy toy elimination earns recognition and points) names as a group from each trny into a duo of columns and let the program class each name or names in alphabetical order.
